There are a lot of reasons why people quit law school. This is not always the fault of the student. There are times when the institution is also at fault. Regardless, let us look at some reasons and their possible solutions.

The first problem is that the tuition fee of law schools are very expensive. Aside from that, the books needed are bulky and cost a lot. Students who have taken student loans are sometimes burdened that they would not be able to pay it on time. This is because it would take some time before they can get a stable job. Lawyers have great salaries provided that you have already made a name for yourself. The starting salary will suffice but not if you took out a student loan.

One way to avoid this predicament is to get a scholarship. NGOs, other establishments and schools themselves offer these to outstanding students. The condition is usually to work for them for a couple of years. This is not really a bad thing as you would have a job instantly when you graduate.

The second reason is a lot of time needs to be invested in order to successfully graduate. Aside from the classes, case studies and exams require long hours of cramming. People are usually left with no time to socialize and entertain themselves.

In order to keep yourself from quitting, keep in touch with your classmates. Remember, all of you experience the same hardships. You can talk about it together and even have fun once in a while.
