Homeschooling is good but it also important for children to be enrolled in schools, meet their mates and learn other aspects of social life that homeschooling alone cannot provide. I think homeschooling is a good complement but not a replacement.

The advantages of homeschooling, is that you don't or aren't ''strongly'' advised to ''test'' and ''medicate'' your straight A student for ADHD or any other disorder, to educate your child. You do get to teach your child more of your values along with the core curriculum. Flexibility of different learning styles / curriculum and time managed in classroom setting and child's own pace. The ''lack'' of ''socialization as in; peer pressure, violence, lack of values and drugs.

I think the idea of home schooling is purly individual. For this type of schooling, the parents must be fully aware of the current trend of education as well as they should have a great forsightedness to think about the future of their children. They should have ample of time for their children for the success of this type of schooling.
