I'm new around here. I teach Language Arts and ESL to middle school girls who are pregnant or are mothers already. One concern is attendance. I teach in Houston Texas in an urban setting. Is there anyone else out there who has a similar teaching situation to mine. If so, I would like to chat about any ideas you may have about student motivation.

I'm a jr/hischool Lang. Arts teacher...I love it! I teach 4th - ESL college English. It keeps me hopping, but it is enjoyably challenging.
