Have you checked out livemocha? It's not a kid's site, but I bet with a little work you can cook up a community to support a classroom learning experience. They will also get the latest tech experience on the house! good luck, going to try that myself....

Hi, I´m new here, so I hope I´m doing this the right way. I totally recommend http://busyteacher.org/ because you only need an account to download or share material. It´s important to mention you don´t have to upload material to download. I hope you find it useful!

Hi I just got in esl-printables.com. They require you to send a printable of your own first and get some points by having others download your printable and then you can download the worksheets for free. It looks like a good one. Let me know if you find any other.
