I believe a good teacher has a great deal of patience and love for the profession. If you do not love teaching you will never make it! Every student should be treated with equal care and love. Creating a comfortable environment for the students also is very important.

A good teacher depends on the class atmosphere you are working in....we do intend to be really the monitor ,the guide, the father, the friend, the one you can rely on in times of trouble...but what about our students....I do agree with Phil senior but sometimes the patience come to an end ...though we always like our subject we're trying to teach (well....I.. I think )I envy my teachers as they taught us in a golden era of students who know how to handle responsibility...But we have to be reliable, sympathetic and creative yet to think as students (sometimes) in order to get a good relation with our students

Couldn't agree with you more, Alejendra. It comes from the heart and shows in our behavior!

First of all, in my opinion a good teacher is a teacher who teaches from the heart, commited with the growth of his or her students, not only found in a classroom but also walking along a street. Our behaviour in our personal life has to reflect the dreamed citizen we are growing. The things children, teenagers or even adults can learn from us, it is because they couldn't find it in any other place, including home and the way we get their hearts is through love, there is no other way to get there. We really have a tremendous responsibility!!! but we are happy to have it. I really enjoy it!!

Patience, a love for their subject, a love for guiding people to learn, and ......... giving students responsibility
