There isn't nearly as much information on best practices and lesson plans for adolescent reading as there is for early childhood. I am hoping other middle and secondary reading teachers can collaborate, sharing curriculum and motivation ideas.

As part of that we have created a FREE online education Resource that contains 21 lesson plans and 28 classroom activities focused on issues like conflict resolution, intercultural cooperation, ending bullying, the United Nations, and the link between sustainability and peace!

I'm thinking about introducing my 6-graders to another class from another country as a graduation gift. They may share their view of the future or exchange experience of some aspect of life through a guided writing task.
